What happens when a dozen creative fiber artists each create their interpretation of this zinnia?
...and then they each cut theirs into quarters and trade with 3 other artists...
...and then they reassemble the flowers with thread and fabric and beads and embroidery and all things imaginable........imagine the possibilities!
To view the resulting "Flower Power" exhibit and many more exciting works from the
Dirty Dozen Fiber Artists, plan to attend:
"Dirty Dozen Exposed 2010"

Dirty Dozen Fiber Artists were asked to be the featured exhibit at Art Gallery of Viera for the month of May, 2010, in their Floral and Fiber Art Show. Eight of us accepted the invitation, and were excited to be able to "show our stuff" to the broader art community. Here are some pictures of the pieces that are on display until May 29th. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by the gallery in the Home Center at 5410 Murrell Road, Viera, Florida. You can see more pictures and read about the gallery at http://www.artgalleryofviera.com
